Touristic sector

Ukraine is a country with great tourist potential. The sector provides crucial support for the national economy. Up to 2014, more than 20 million foreigners visited Ukraine annually but in 2017 only 14.2 million tourists visited the country due to the situation in East Ukraine. The country's tourism industry is generally considered to be underdeveloped and full of possibilities for investors. Ukraine does have certain advantages, including much lower costs than other European destinations, as well as visa-free access for tourists from Europe.  It has mountain ranges – the Carpathian Mountains suitable for skiing, hiking, fishing, and hunting. The coastline on the Black Sea is a popular summer destination for vacationers. The best tourists destination to visit include also cities Kyiv, Lviv, Odessa, Dnipro, and Kharkiv. Very popular in the country medical tourism in Ukraine. CitiesTruskavets and Myrhorod are well known for their mineral springs water.
